I forgot to mention that as I left Tillamook, heading south on 101 at about
4:00 PM this afternoon, there were two large white birds flying high over
the wet area behind the high school. A closer look revealed four birds, two
each of the Tundra Swans and Snow Geese. At least that's what I called them,
but I wouldn't bet on the identification of either pair. Here is a photo, if
anyone wants to comment:
