Agreed! That is the highlight of my feeder watching ... when a Sharpie
zooms by.
I rarely see a catch, but occasionally some feathers.

Unless your yard is harboring a species of some kind of special concern
and the hawk is an immanent threat to it, I suggest that you do nothing
special to discourage the hawk and certainly not harm it.
