I looked for the Emperor Goose 3:20-4:45 this afternoon, until the light
failed. No luck. The geese were well away from the road behind a weedy
fencerow, here 45.800906, -122.819556 <javascript:void(0)> ,which made it
difficult to scan the whole flock.
As I was leaving I saw a SHORT-EARED OWL in the dusk here 45.778067,
-122.822440 <javascript:void(0)>
Further along the road I saw a GREAT HORNED OWL fly from a utility pole in
this general area 45.752057, -122.830817 <javascript:void(0)>
Good birding, everyone,
Paul Sullivan
