Hi,
Here is a link to some photos of a peregrine falcon from Goodspeed Road in
Tillamook taken yesterday. Given the recent rumors of a gyr, I was hopeful,
but was quickly disabused by those more expert than I at the dickcissel
location.
And further study on my part was informative - these photos show the
wingtips extending to the end of the tail. Any thoughts on whether this is
a *anatum* or a *tundrius*? Doesn't seem to me to be a Peale's.
And I did see the dickcissel - thanks again to the birders there!
