I'm wondering if the chickadees were moving around more during October and
November, and have now settled into feeders and are harder to locate. Maybe
with recent cold whether some of them relocated to new feeders.
We counted six Mountain Chickadees at a trailer park on Hayden Island
during the Portland CBC today. The same location hosted a Mountain
Chickadee during the winter of 2012 - 2013.
