I have to respectfully disagree with Joel Geier; it is not silly that politics
be kept out (in general) from OBOL.

Frankly it just seems silly to proclaim that "OBOL is not about
politics" when what amounts to an armed insurrection has taken over the
state's top birding site, and may be endangering the safety of the same
federal employees who have helped us so many times as birders.
At some point passive non-engagement becomes complicity. I suggest that
we've reached, and gone past that point with this incident.
