Hi All,
Lois was indeed a very special lady and well loved by many on the South
Coast. Her bird photos have graced the covers of books, been in galleries,
and won a few contests for sure. I have a beautiful Turquoise-browed
Motmot photo she gifted my wife and I hanging on the wall near our front
door- it is stunning as was much of her photography. When she got home
from Costa Rica a couple years back she took a fall and hurt her back and
has been incapacitated since then even before the cancer was diagnosed
recently. She remained happy an smiley throughout this period although she
was unable to get out like she use to. I will miss her a lot, she was a
really amazing person.
