Hi All, If you haven't seen the beautiful photos that Christopher and Adrian took of the Blackburnian Warbler they found in the Pueblos last weekend they are posted on harneybirder.com. Things have slowed considerably on the migration front but nesting is making it easy to find local birds as they feed young. Woodpeckers are hard at it in the mountains out of Burns as they come and go from nesting cavities, making for fun views of both male and female at the cavity hole. It is just a neat time of year when the frantic search for vagrants lessens and the enjoyment of fledglings, fawns and dusty roads that prove how air tight your vehicle isn't ...okay, so the enjoyment of fledglings and fawns. Cheers! Tim Blount www.harneybirder.com
