On June 14th, searching for juncos, we hiked into the Pueblo Mountains south of Fields. We saw several Oregon Juncos, two Gray-headed Juncos, and one Oregon x Gray-headed Junco. I'll post more junco details later. Near the high point of the hike at 6700' we found a singing male BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER in a stand of Mountain Mahogany. Coincidentally, six years ago in mid-June we found a female Blackburnian Warbler in a similar stand of Mountain Mahogany on a 6800' ridge just three miles away from this spot. Good photos of the warbler: https://www.flickr.com/photos/80672850@N02/14437153642/ Fields on 6/13 and 6/14 didn't produce any vagrants but had a good number of migrants, including Pacific Wren, Gray Catbird, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and Red-eyed Vireo.
