Another Gray Catbird, this one in Jackson County. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <bquaccia@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, Jun 26, 2014 at 11:03 AM Subject: [RV Birds] Grey Catbird To: rv-birds@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This morning while doing the monthly bird monitoring at N. Mt. Park in Ashland I had a good view of a Grey Catbird. It was perched in a tree near the pavilion by the office. I noticed the black cap and long tail on an all grey bird. It flew to another nearby tree and thats when I got a good view of the chestnut undertail coverts. It flew off to the right disappeared and came back and landed in the shrubbery around the pond. The last sighting of a Catbird that I know of was a bird at Lost Creek lake in 2005, which many of us saw. -- -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to rv-birds+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Rogue Valley Birds" group.
