Hello folks,
This conference series Nov 4th & 10th could be of keen interest for many Oregon
birders, considering the role that lakes play as habitat for many birds that
birders enjoy. The topics include Great Basin saline lakes (such as Lake Abert
and Summer Lake), harmful algae blooms in the Klamath Basin, phytoplankton
communities in montane lakes (such as Lost Lake), and wildfire effects on the
ecology of reservoirs (such as Detroit Lake).
Be like water & love our lakes,
Joel
