Yesterday, Robyn and I spent much of the day in Bullards Beach State
Park. Lots of Gulls, loons and scoters moving off of the Coquille River
North Jetty, but did not detect any "real" seabird movement offshore. In
the inner dune area on the east side of the lighthouse road we
encountered a group of 9 Lapland Longspurs in the same area where we had
5 back on October 17th. On the beach itself, about a mile north of the
lighthouse we saw a lone Horned Lark. Pictures are in my eBird checklists.
