Interesting bird for sure. Perhaps it's the photo, but the bird's bill looks pretty stubby for a Red-wing or other long, sharply point billed Blackbird. Bill shape fits Cowbird better. Perhaps a Brown-headed with its color pattern reversed. Will have to dig out my Blackbird books and see what might fit. It is out of focus and head may be at angle. Greg I will add that I am certainly not used to seeing Bronzed Cowbirds being attracted to the habitat where the subject bird was photographed, whereas it looks very attractive to a Red-winged Blackbird. As I am sure you agree, we don't identify birds based on what habitat they are found in, but Red-winged Blackbirds are very common there.
