As Lane Co has no local chat list, I’ll mention here that there is a very
cooperative pygmy-owl hanging out around the first meadow on the main Spencer
Butte trail. It was there on the CBC and today in the same place.
An adult Red-shouldered hawk looking for action among the headstones at Rest
Haven on s Willamette St was in an odd location and a trifle optimistic.
Bewick’s wren singing today, Anna’s displaying and the local vulture cruising
around. It’s almost... not January!
