Columbia Estuary Report - 11/18/2015
The COMMON GROUND DOVE was along the track next to the big dirt mound
this afternoon (not there in the morning today). The TROPICAL KINGBIRDS
have not been seen since Sunday.
A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW is coming to a feeder on the east end of Chinook
Valley Rd. The WHITE-THROATED SPARROW continues at Wireless Rd near the
cyclone fence.
Ocean watching has been largely uneventful given all the stormy weather.
A seawatch this morning at North Head, Pacific Co., WA. found an
impressive movement of RED-THROATED LOONS, a single NORTHERN FULMAR and
a POMARINE JAEGER. Otherwise, it was kind of slow without much diversity.
