Two CANADA GEESE w/white collars were observed at Fords Pond (west of
Sutherlin, Douglas Co.) on Nov 8 when we had our field trip there. I
submitted the codes to the Bird Banding Lab and got results the next day!
The two geese were both males banded as AHY (1yr old or older) on July 3,
2015, NEAR CAMPBELL RIVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA. Apparently they are
sticking together so far.
Not a big deal as far as geese migration goes, but I always think it's
interesting to see the travels of birds documented.
