Dense movement of Surf Scoters during the
first 3 hours with frequent strings to 2000 visible
1/2-2+ miles out, becoming sporadic after 10:15
and minimal movement after 11:30. Most strings
nearly pure typically with only a few White-winged.
Pacific Loon: 30000 in 15 minutes 7:35-7:50 in
clouds of birds visibly flying SE in around a large
squall to the south. Otherwise generally 150-
600/minute for most of duration moving in and
out with squalls, with a few lulls and diminishing
movement after 11:45.
