Yesterday's epic hummingbird barnstorming is over. My sister's Oceanside
feeders are down to just a couple of Rufous and and a very few casual
acting Anna's.
The show built for 3 days to yesterday's crescendo, and now all is calm.
Leaves me wondering what impact feeders have on survival rates of these
migrants. Might a Rufous make it to British Columbia that would
otherwise have perished trying?
Not answerable, I know.
