The 4th South Grants Pass raptor survey was completed today, 03-20-20.
Traveled 26.8 miles in 2.5 hours. Weather: clear
Observed were:
Red-tailed Hawk - 5
Turkey Vulture - 4
That's it, only 5 Red-tails found along entire route and no other
raptors observed. Did see a couple of year birds. A Northern
Mockingbird, manage to find one every few years, been a while, however.
Also, a Northern Rough-winged Swallow.
