The 2nd North Grants Pass Raptor survey was accomplished today (12-19-17)

Weather: Overcast to partly cloudy
Results:
Red-tailed Hawk - 10
American Kestrel - 3
Bald Eagle - 1 (immature)
Red-shouldered Hawk - 4
Turkey Vulture - 4
Low raptor species diversity today. Appears the Turkey Vultures have started
to arrive, found one bird that that was going to land where some Ravens were
feeding, later on 3 seen circling above Upper River Road. At one location
there were 2 Song Sparrows singing from opposite sides of the road.
