The 2nd Applegate/Williams raptor survey was accomplished today (01-24-13)
Distance traveled: 37.9 miles; Survey time: 3.5 hours
Weather: foggy at first, then overcast
Results:
Red-tailed Hawk - 17
American Kestrel - 6
Bald Eagle 2 (adult)
Red-shouldered Hawk - 2
White-tailed Kite - 1
Cooper's Hawk - 2
No unexpected species along the route today.
