Starting in November of last year, Tulsa started depositing all UAP payments on
Pre-Paid cards issued by US Bank. We are doing this for our Voucher program,
Public Housing, and PBRA. This all occurs at no cost to our agency or to the
tenant. It has been an absolutely fantastic program and US Bank made the
entire process very easy for us. The benefit of not printing, mailing, and
managing uncashed checks is tremendous.

Hello OATHA group
Does Authority send tenants Utility Allowance checks? My LIPH person
has advised me that HUD is now allowing HA's that pay UA to tenants to
hold back anything less than $ 45.00 fo r three months - meaning anyone
receiving less 45 dollars or less a month will receive a Quarterly Utility
Allowance Check .
ECS is aware of this change but has not written anything in their software to
accommodate yet.
Do you do issue Utility Allowance checks to the tenants ? if so do you
know how your HA is going to handle this new situation?
