Just pushed some fixes.
Popen requires admin rights without shell=True. But Popen is a fallback
anyways. I found that launching through the "start" command doesn't seem to
generate the all-black magnifier window I described before.
Pull my changes and give it a try now. There is one important addition to
the .po as well.
