The first question is why you are trying to call scripts at all. There should be almost no good reason to do this, but there are always edge cases.

If the script you want to call is an NVDA command, the gesture is irrelevant. If, however, the script is inherently tied to the gesture (e.g. up arrow, down arrow, etc. in editable text controls), you should be emulating the gesture, not the script.
