[nvda-addons] Re: Add-on update notification: would Twitter be goodfor this?

Personally, I think the best way to receive update notifications would be
from the NVDA program directly. I would like to see (and am trying to
eventually make time to develop) a more robust addon manager, capable of
downloading and installing updates from the official list.

Second to that, and currently number one, should be pointing people to the
RSS feed at http://addons.nvda-project.org/ .

Social media (such as Twitter) and anything which requires an extra account
or software is tertiary, IMHO.

I'm not trying to say it's a bad idea or anything, especially in the
ever-more digital world we find ourselves in, I just don't think it's as
important (or as useful) as the other two.
