This version of SpeakOn has been around (and I think you used it for
some months) since June and there are no reported problems.
Therefore it is likely to be your machine. If the problem persists,
contact me directly on:
speakon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and I shall look into it. In any case it is nothing to do with the NTNM
feed (now resolved) feed problem.

Yes all good this morning. I just hope there is a commitment to keep SpeakOn
as an option for reading NTNM publications in the future. I know SpeakOn is
not an RNIB product but it would be good to be assured that future NTNM
developments would take account of SpeakOn and allow for its development
alongside. A bit like big Microsoft taking screenreaders into account when
developing Windows - well, perhaps we need something a bit better than that
given we've now got this Edge thing in Windows 10.

None of today's papers have appeared in SpeakOn. I wonder if something is
SpeakOn is by a mile the best way to read NTNM publications on a PC and itwould be a horror if the link is not maintained. Those of you who are still
having to faff about navigating the website and laboriously choosing which
format of which section of a newspaper you wish to read should really give
SpeakOn a go. I estimate it takes me just 10 seconds from opening the app to
having the Guardian ready for reading and with all those annoying links
which go nowhere stripped out!.
Please do fix whatever has gone wrong!
