Associate Director for External Affairs

The newest addition to the Smithsonian Institution, the National Museum of
African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is the national museum for the

increasingly global world.

The Associate Director for External Affairs is the Chief Development and

campaign to construct a museum home on the National Mall. Construction of the
NMAAHC is set to begin in 2012, and open in 2015.
