I just got a quote from armored waterproofing out of Baltimore and it’s cheaper
than all the other quotes I got. They have all outstanding reviews on angies
list. It’s about half of what I was quoted by chamberlin.

drain, sump pump), one from chamberlin-Washington and one from all aspects
waterproofing. All aspects previously put some I beams in our basement to
support a wall that was bulging and they did very good work. The quote from
chamberlin-Washington is way more expensive than all aspects and I’m not
really sure why. Probably just gonna go with the cheaper one since both
companies are reputable.

We fought this battle for a long time before biting the bullet and getting
a French drain. Mid-Atlantic did our work and we were very satisfied with
both the work and results. We had an early leak but they came out quickly
and extended the French drain for free. We haven't had a leak since. I
thought the system was a bit of overkill but now I'm glad with all the
heavy rain.

bit of water mitigation, both inside and outside. It cost us more than the
planned project, but in the end, we’ve not had a drop of water in 3 years.
French drains inside and also outside to divert rain water. Specia Plastic
sheeting along the walls to divert any leakage from cracks down into the
French drain. Double sump pumps for different levels of the basement, etc.

success. Frustrating for a guy who got an A in water resources
engineering in grad school! Not Archer or Kathleen Litchfield. Anyone
used JES for waterproofing?
