Hi John,

The agenda looks very good to me and I'm happy to lead a field trip to Blue Job
to discuss burn plans if folks are interested.  Based on MapQuest, it will be a
20 min drive to Blue Job from the museum.

Hello Council members,
Wendy informed me that I start my term as team chair this month with Steve
Najjar as co-chair.  Take a look at the agenda and see if you have additions or
questions.  I have received confirmation that Jen Little and Molly Campbell
will attend so the dispatch/IQS topic should be worthwhile.  I have plugged the
new state fire director Steve Sherman into as many agenda items as possible in
hopes that he will attend.  I have also invited a few different people to
discuss funding options for town and private entities.  Perhaps Brad
Simpkins/Steve Sherman could give an update on Cohesive Strategy funding?  If
unable to attend in person we can set up a conference line, let me know if that
is needed.  We discussed a field trip to nearby burn units after the meeting,
specifically the Blue Job unit...not sure if that is still on or if there is
another unit nearby to look at.  I have booked the Gilman Museum from 0900-1200
Sept 14.  Directions are on the agenda.  Thanks.
