Hi Tom, could you please let the Compact Ops Committee know that we finally
have a new Chief of Forest Protection within the Division of Forests and Lands.
Steve Sherman has been selected as the new Chief, and will officially start on
August 19th. However, he will be attending the Ops Committee and the
Commission meeting next week. I plan on getting to the Ops meeting late
morning. Many of the Ops folks will know Steve from his many years affiliated
with the Compact and as the recent Chair of the Training Working Team. It's
great to have Steve on board.
