Oh maybe! As long as the dogs aren't getting the fumes. Our area for ours
isn't waterproof exactly, some holes in the roof and mostly covered at the
sides but not fully, but where the generator sits is ok. Have you got
electricity to run out to it?
That's fab re the heaters and battery light too. It's great you have a
generator especially in these bizarre days we live in.
I'm sure solar ones have their issues too! Like not enough strong sunshine
lol. Six of one and half a dozen of another. Part of our fuel crisis in the
UK is because we relied on solar power and we didn't get enough strong
sunshine this summer!

They are amazing but need to be somewhere safe. That's assuming they all
run in the same way lol, fuel in, electricity out. Think they have a little
exhaust like a car where the fumes come out. But those fumes can build up
in a place not ventilated.
We have a covered area for a car where it gets lots of fresh air and near
electricity. Sheltered but breezy is ideal.
Do you have a shed or anything? Even if you need to move some less
important things out of it and keep a window open.
I only have basic knowledge on this. That may change if we need to use
ours!
