To which version(s) of OS X and OS X upgrade are you referring?

If it's OS X 10.2 it's the full version. If it's OS X 10.0 it's a full
version. If it's OS X 10.1 it could be either a full version or an update
which requires 10.0 to install (or, if you have a CD-burner you can
apparently hack the 10.1 update to become a full install by removing *one*
file and re-burning the CD :).

Eric.
