[mswindowsxp] IIS Not Responding

Dear Group,
Could anybody please tell me why my IIS freezes and will not respond
when i try and initialize anything to do with it??? Someone told me
today that this sometimes happens when FrontPage and Visual Interdev run
on the same machine, which is the case here.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
