Nah...it's a known issue...and for some reason it's only with
Word...whenever you open a newer version, then open an older version, the
installer wants to run...you can just cancel and it works fine...but as soon
as you open a newer version, then the older version, it happens again.
I've seen it with Word 97 and Word 2000 too....I've mentioned it a few times
in different forums and nobody ever replies to me so I really don't know why
it happens, but it does.

After installing office 2000 back into my 'puter after a fresh install of xp
every time i go to open up anything i have done in word a small window comes
up with windows installer and preparing to install and please wait while
office configures your computer.The blue line goes across twice and my
document opens up.Did I by chance install office improperly or ???
