Hmmm, sorry, I'm really new at Excel, and picking up bit by bit each
day.
The only thing I will be good at is to troubleshoot problems and not
making spreadsheet......
Geee, new everyday and I will be starting data base in a week time.....
So let's hope my whole course will be smooth as I wanted.

Thanks Linda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Sorry Thomas...I think we are talking apples and oranges here. Linking
spreadsheets and making formula references absolute or relative are
totally different things.

Linking worksheets simply means the formula in one workbook refers to a
cell or range of cells in another workbook. This reference to these
cells can be either absolute or relative. Absolute means that the cell
references will never change, relative means that the cell references
will change, relative to where the formula is copied on the page.

Here's a link that explains absolute and relative:

Hope this helps some

Well, I'm just asking if you link the worksheet that way, isn't that the
same as putting a vlookup formular for a table, and making that table
absolute or even named it. I'm just trying to understand the concept on
how to work on formular as I can't see well enough to determine the
visual table and cells.
So in simple, I make this area of cells to be absolute so that the
formular I'm making on my spreadsheet will be always refer by the
formula for entering info just like what you try to help to put on the
same data on different worksheet.
I hope its not making anymore confuse then how I made to myself.
