To be able to receive exes and other extensions in Outlook, you need a
third party addin. The one I use adds a tab to Tools>Options where you
can pick and choose the ones you want...it's here:
http://www.zdnetindia.com/downloads/business/info/6650951.html (works
great)

Not sure what you mean about no way to read emails before you open them,
so I'd need some more details on that...

You can have auto signatures in Outlook....just go to Tools>Options>Mail
Format Tab and click on the Signatures Button....make as many as you
want and select one as default....then when you open a new mail, if you
want to switch it to another, just highlight the sig in the mail and go
to Insert>Signature and pick the one you want

Subject: [mso] .exe files in Outlook XP and other questions.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to unblock .exe files received in Outlook
XP? This is Outlook XP's last chance before I change back to Express.

Also, has anyone else found Outlook so lacking in features that
they've switched back to Express? (E.G. No why to read the emails before
opening them, like one can do in Express; Signatures that have to be
copied and pasted per email address, when Express allows different
signatures to automatically be added in per different email address;
etc.)

Cordially,
Steven Fredette
