[mso] Re: access 2003reports

I accomplish this by launching certain reports (usually quarterly reports
or timeline snapshots of data) from a form using unbound text boxes named
StartDate and EndDate. On the form, I plug in the date ranges that I need
to use to pull the data, and to show in the report title, so I'll know the
quarter or date range on the printout.
On the report, the recordsource query date criteria is as follows:

Between [Forms]![LaunchForm]![StartDate] And
[Forms]![LaunchForm]![EndDate]

Using unbound text boxes in the report title, the control source for the
unbound text boxes is:

=Forms!LaunchForm!StartDate
=Forms!LaunchForm!EndDate

This gives me a flexible report where date ranges can be entered, and the
report title will reflect whatever range is entered for that report run.

Hope this is along the lines of what you are looking to accomplish, and
sorry to be so long in reply.
