[mso] XL Custom list

I want a fill down that does the following
6/9/2002 Friday
7/9/2002 Saturday
13/9/2002 Friday
14/9/2002 Saturday
etc, etc When I try just doing the fill handle, I either get sequential
dates or I get a copy of the dates. I want it to follow the sequence - any
ideas?
