The Proofing Tools are a separation part of the installation...which
includes the Spell Checker, Grammar Checker and AutoHyphen. Since
they're tools not every wants, they're optional installs. Sure, you'd
think everyone would want spell checker, but maybe they are running
English Office, but prefer to work more in another language, so their
spell checker is another language. I never bother with AutoHyphen, so I
never install it...save the space!

Well, once again the solution was so simple. I was unsure about saying
I wanted to install something when I didn't know what it was. Never
occurred to me that automatic hyphenation required special
files...assumed something that sounds so basic would have been part of
my regular Office install.
