Well, Joomi's didn't work as I guessed, we'd pretty much covered that
although some kind of malware may have been behind it, and my query last
week about truncated fields in tables linked from Excel to Access and
MailMerge is still a mystery despite James La Borde's suggestions, but
WOW!

your Toolbar Troubleshooting "Regedit" really hit the jackpot ..... and our
IT technos were suitably impressed. My only weakness is that I hate not
knowing WHY it works!

Many thanks and keep on truckin'
p the good work.

Or, if Joomi's suggestions don't work, read my Toolbar Troubleshooting page,
which applies specifically to lost Word toolbars. It's here:

My first thought is to go ahead and hover just below the title bar and right
click to see if a menu option pops up.

My second thought is that you've got some kind of malware on your computer,
in which case you should download a program like Ad-Aware from
http://www.lavasoft.com <http://www.lavasoft.com> and run it to get rid of
any malware objects you may have on your computer.

Joomi Lee
