Ahh...I didn't think that the question might have been to make the TABLES
unformatted versus what I said to turn the text back into a plain doc????

So if you still want the tables, as I see after reading Linda's
interpretation of your Q, then yes you can still convert to text and then
just convert it back to a table. The formatting will be trashed.

Well...you can just go to File>Save As and choose to save it in a txt
format...but them tables may get messed up and need some cleaning, as plain
text will not recognize the columns, etc....so you may need to clean it up a
bit. (might be better to click inside the tables and go to the Table menu
and choose Convert>Table to Text...that will remove all the color background
formatting in the tables since they are no longer tables.)

Subject: [mso] Unformatting a Document

I have a document that's full of shaded tables. What I'd like to do is strip
all of the formatting and turn it into a plain text document. Can this be
done?

Thanks,

Michele B. Wong
