Look at your folder list in Outlook (the pane on the left) ... if you don't see it, since you haven't yet told me which version of Outlook you have, it's called two different things ... so go to the View menu and choose either Folder List or Navigation Pane ... in that list, you should see Personal Folders, but you will also see another name (depending on what you named the other pst ... if you didn't name it, then it will say Personal Folders (2) or something like that) ... it will be out there on the same hierarchy level as your Personal Folders ... that would be a second pst and that's what you need to right click on and choose to Close it. If that doesn't help you, I'm really sorry, Trace, cuz I'm out of ideas (and heading out of town for a few days) and maybe someone else can make a suggestion ... but, in my experience, this is the only time I've ever seen the duplicate tasks. And, you also didn't say if NEW tasks are also showing up twice or if it's just existing ones. Also, please let us know which version of Outlook you are using ... I've never seen this duplicate task problem before until I started using 2007, so I'm assuming that's what you have, but it will help people if you tell us that. ******************************* Linda F.
