Hi Trace. I have had this happen to me with Outlook 2007, when I have more
than one pst file, but as soon as I remove that second pst, the duplication
of the tasks stops. So, I'm assuming you may think you've gotten rid of the
second pst but there must be some remnant of it that's still there?

Subject: [mso] Tasks duplicated in "To Do List"

Hi guys, I had to reinstall Windows and all my software. I copied my backup
PST files into \local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook and
pointed Outlook to them after activation. Unfortunately, I was distracted by
having to answer the phone during the first running of Outlook and I ended
up with 2 personal profiles. I removed the one created at installation
without problems, or so I thought. Now when I create a new task 2 identical
tasks are created and show up in my to do list in duplicate as well.

Is there any solution to this? I would be most grateful for any assistance.
I did a Google but didn't come up with anything relevant and I did also try
the Microsoft KB but was unable to post a request for assistance there, I
still haven't figured out why but I don't really think it's important.

Regards

Trace
