[mso] Re: Tasks duplicated in "To Do List"

I'm feeling really stupid here, Linda, I'm sorry. I've now searched my
entire HDD for all *.pst files I found a couple in a backup folder and have
removed them to another drive. The only pst files are now archive and
outlook in f:\documents and settings\Tracey\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

Calendar appointments only show up once but tasks are still showing up
twice. Is there somewhere else I ought to be looking? Outlook has the above
data path for my pst files with Outlook set as the default. Where else could
it be getting this from? Are tasks stored elsewhere?

Thanks a ton for helping me with this, I know how busy you are and I'm
really grateful.

I doubt your OS has anything to do with it. I really don't know why it's
happening, but the only time I've personally seen it is when I had two psts
open at the same time ... and once I got rid of the second one, the
duplicate tasks went away ... are you sure you don't have ANY remnants of
that other pst? Check your Tasks and Calendar ... are there duplicate
entries in there? If you make a NEW task now that you are sure the other
pst is gone, does that one show up as a duplicate too?

Hi Linda, thanks, I've doubled checked and I have only an Outlook.pst and
Archive.pst in that folder. My backups are on another drive. Does it matter
that my OS is now on drive F: and not C:?
