Aha! Is it possible that even though you removed the sync software, your
computer is still looking for the PDA to sync with? I don't remember =
where
you go to check that, but it seems quite likely to be related.

One way to check is to see if working offline makes any difference. Go =
to
File--> Work Offline and then create a new email or move around. Is the
speed any better?

Hi Kathy
This has been going on for 2+ weeks. The Laptop is new and I initially =
had
no problem so because I wanted to sync with my PDA, I loaded the PDA
software and did a sync. I have removed the sync program, uninstall =
Office
completely, reinstalled Office 2007 but no improvement. As I type this =
reply
the whole program is 10-15 seconds behind then it seems to suddenly
catch-up. If I move about Outlook from say the Inbox to the sent box I =
have
to wait for the program to catch-up.
Do I delete all files (where do I go to do that) or is there a fix
somewhere. Apart from this Outlook issue - I would have moved all action
over to this computer - but this sloooow pace will drive me bananas. =
Just
moving the cursor back to amend/correct a spelling mistake when typing =
this
is sooo painful. Heeeelp=20
