I've run 1, 1.5, and 2GB RAM on XP and Vista on Outlook 2007 with indexing
on and off and believe it to be MUCH slower than 2003.

(I do have over 100,000 emails in 10+ folders.)

Ok - That should be enough RAM, but you should know that your memory is
shared between your CPU and your video card. That shouldn't affect =
things,
but it might.

(And as to your other question: Yes, Windows Desktop Search 3.01 is what
Linda is suggesting your remove. I am not so sure that it is the =
problem.
You might want to try to disable it instead of removing it first.)
