Kathy ... Actually, I never suggested he "remove" it ... I said that *I*
uninstalled it and he asked if he should just delete it, so I told him =

to uninstall it instead (uninstall as opposed to deleting) ... but that
doesn't mean I'm saying that will fix his problem. But, in the case of =
my
computer, disabling the desktop search did not stop it from using CPU =
power
... the only way I could shut the dang thing off was by uninstalling it =
...
but that was on MY computer and not necessarily the case with others. =
And,
I never had the slow mouse stuff that Colin is having .... I just felt
Outlook 2007 was sluggish, but not crippled like Colin is saying.
