You need to use the format function within each cell. Highlight the cell = and right click on it and select format and then go to the protection tab. = You can also highlight multiple cells by holding down your CTRL key and = click on the cell and then while still holding down CTRL highlight another. = Select Lock from the protection tab. Then use the tools menu to turn worksheet protection on and off. Even if you specify a cell as being locked it is = not locked until protection is turned on. -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On = Behalf Of Peggy Knesebeck Sent: Thursday, July 19, 2007 9:28 AM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Protect cells withing a worksheet =20 I am trying to set up worksheets for budgets that other people will be updating.
