I think I may KINDA know what she might be thinking of...but if I am
correct, that one was in WP...not Word. This is the only one I've ever seen
that came with Word since version 2.0.

There was never a command in Word to do this. There was, however, a utility
that was provided as an additional macro in Word 95 that did this. I have
that macro code module on www.mousetrax.com/downloads.html which you can
download to get your sample document. It's the one mentioned in the MVP
article. They provide a similar one, but as they said, the one Dave Rado
created runs a bit faster...but I still use the old Word 95 one I have on my
download site...and it works fine.
