I found this macro that does what I wanted, but I still know there was a way to do it from within Word. http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/FontSampleGenerator .htm Guess I'll have to wait until Monday. There's some way to generate a Word document that prints a sentence in each font that's installed. I think it's somewhere on the macro tab under Word commands, but I just can't put my finger on it. I'm pretty sure I remember who sent me the tip though, but I can't ask that person until Monday. Oh well, I'll keep thinking about it, taking more ginko baloba and maybe it will come to me. You can download Greg's cataloger at mousetrax.com ... I just love that thing whenever I want to print the contents of any folder or drive...and it IS a Word macro/template thing, so maybe that's what you are remembering?=3D20 Linda F.
